PKP Kinesiology - A revolutionary way of thinking.

Why we need a new approach.

More and more children today are experiencing a variety of learning challenges. These are met in the current system with a wide range of coping strategies and one to one support, yet even though these young people are being recognised in primary school as having learning difficulties, they proceed through secondary school and often on to university with the same problems.

This does not have to be so if you are open to new ways of approaching the challenge.

 

PKP Kinesiology helps us to understand and resolve the blocks to learning.

We do not "label" a condition (eg.ADD/ADHD/Dyslexia/Autism/Dyspraxia), each person is treated as a unique individual and the balance is be tailored with their particular goal in mind. Therefore no two balances will be the same.

PKP looks at the body rather like a complex biological computer which is trying to co-ordinate and relay a staggering amount of information every second of the day so that we can function "normally". Sometimes our "wiring" is not connected up as it should be or if a person is stressed, faults in the electrical learning circuits develop and the message has to be sent from "a" to "b" via another route (the long way round) or is not able to reach its destination at all. This is then seen as a "learning difficulty".

By locating these stresses and blocks to learning we are able to reconnect the missing links in the circuits and repair the fuses by using specific energetic techniques and exercises.

 

Causes of learning challenges.

The loss of integrated brain function is the inability to do something easily and can be initiated by a particular stressor in a particular situation. For some people it may be a momentary loss of ability when trying to perform a particular task, whilst for others it could be on-going loss if integration in whole areas.

Causes will never be the same. These may be due to:

  • problems at birth
  • food, drink or additives
  • chemical sensitivities
  • dehydration
  • trauma and stress
  • nutritional deficiencies
  • weak immune system

Therefore....in order to achieve what you want, whether it is to be able to read fluently, spell better, organise yourself efficiently or pass an exam, it is important to find the underlying cause(s) of the problem. It is then possible to address the issue using corrective energy techniques . . . effectively joining up the missing links in the body's own communication network.

 

The body will respond in its own way.

An individual can be affected in many different ways when they have a learning difficulty, whatever it is. Their reaction to it might show as

  • Anxiety or fear
  • Speech problems (stuttering or words come out jumbled up)
  • Impaired bladder control
  • Twitchy or flickering eyes
  • Agressive behaviour
  • Person becomes withdrawn
  • Loss of coordination and clumsiness.

By de-stressing the body at a profound level and finding the cause(s) of the learning difficulty, I can give the person the techniques to strengthen the nerve pathways that will allow healing to take place.

 

The appointment - what to expect.

This will depend on the age and ability of the client and will be 30 mins - 1 hour.

You can choose to be tested seated, standing or lying down on a couch and will remain fully clothed at all times so please arrive wearing comfortable, loose clothing.

The feedback I get from the muscle testing will determine which techniques are to be used for correction. These might be specific exercises, rhythmic movements, nutritional and dietary changes, flower essences, sound or colour. It will be necessary for these to be done at home to reinforce the new comunication pathways.

The number of appointments needed will vary depending on the severity of the problem and what you want to achieve. Typically this will be between 3 - 5 sessions.
